FAQ

How much should i feed my chickens?

This really depends on the size of your chickens for larger chickens a good handful per chicken is a good amount for the smaller breeds and bantams it best to feed a smaller amount.

Should I mix corn and layers pellet together?

Its best to keep the two feeds separate when mixing the chickens tend to pick out the corn because that’s food they prefer.

Can you only feed corn to chicken?

We advise to only use corn as treat in the afternoons or the evening and alongside their normal diet of pellets or mash.

Can be scattered on the floor of the pen to help satisfy the birds’ instinct to scratch and peck.

“Pipinchick couldn’t have been more helpful”

Pipinchick couldn't have been more helpful, delivering our two friendly hens and some supplies we couldn't get hold of elsewhere. The birds have kept us entertained - and supplied with eggs - all summer long. If you are lucky enough to have a small garden I'd recommend a few chickens for everyone.
