How to use?
Use as a part of your cleaning schedule, simply spray your coop and leave for 5 minutes and then using a soft scrubbing brush and a little hot water, scrub and clean.
When to Use?
Use after you have removed all dirty litter as part of your 3 monthly deep clean.
Is it safe for my hens?
Yes it is safe, always ensure you clean whilst your hens are not in the coop, allow the coop to fully dry before putting your hens back in, you might want to house them ina garage or your kitchen overnight while your coop dries thoroughly.
Is there any egg withdrawal?
No, there is no egg withdrawal with this product.
Can I use this instead of Chicken Vet’s Poultry Shield?
Yes, sadly, Chicken Vet have discontinued their Poultry Shield product, this is an ideal alternative to use.

Battles poultry house and disinfectant cleaner is perfect to use on your coop and equipment.
It is a all purpose cleaner and powerful denfectant but it is non-caustic and safe to use as a preventive measure for mites and to clean out your coop regularly or once every 3 months as part of a deep clean with a Virkon S spray.
Spray everywhere in the coop; corners, cracks and crevices where mites hide and go to town with a scrubbing brush, let the coop fully dry before putting your hens back in.
Always use gloves and a face mask when spraying or using any disinfectant.
Wash hands after use.
